Dear Bnei Akiva Parents,

We are sorry to inform you all that due to the recent rise in Corona virus cases in Victoria and subsequent increase in restrictions, we have sadly decided to cancel our BIY program. We will of course be processing refunds for all those who have already signed up. The Gizbar will contact you if he requires any further information.

This has not been an easy decision, however due to the advice from the Australian Government and the AZYC we are no longer able to run in person programming as we had hoped to. Our top priority is the safety of our chanichim, madrichim and the community at large and with the growing numbers it would be irresponsible for our program to proceed.

We would like to thank our Madrichim, and especially our Roshei Tochnit – Zak Josefsberg, Daniel Jaffa and Rebecca Wein for the countless hours of planning that went into developing this program.

We are all looking forward to meeting together in a Bnei forum once restrictions permit.

However, even though we are unable to run an in person program at this time, Bnei are offering a free line up of speakers over Zoom, including Dudi Sela, Israeli tennis star and Rabbi Benji Levy, the CEO of Mosaic United, a joint venture partnership between Israel and the Diaspora to strengthen Jewish identity and connections to Israel for youth around the world. These events, along with others will be offered to the community and we would love to see you all there.

We thank you again for your support and understanding throughout this process,

Amira Waller and Nat Gunn
